The image which the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration (ICAA) wants to create is in essence the following:
  • We want the ICAA to be trusted in every way and to be known for professional work methods.
  • We want the ICAA to be independent and to present issues with tact, courtesy, and decisiveness, rather than with complaints, charges, and commotion.
  • We are discreet and do not stir up a storm. We readily provide reliable information on issues when we are contacted, and also communicate important information when needed, though without breaking confidentiality.
